Wideband Transceiver

Configurable. Each of the eight slots in the module can house a wideband RF up- or down-converter mezzanine, each covering .02 to 18 GHz with 2GHz IBW.

Digital Interface. Built into each 3U module is a VITA-compliant digital interface for system tuning, channel control and health & configuration. Each channel contains its own factory-set frequency and temperature calibration data minimizing the need for additional system calibration. This integral digital capability also dramatically simplifies system integration.

This highly integrated, SOSA-aligned module provides high fidelity, wideband RF signal conditioning with high-speed digital conversion.
It is designed with standard interfaces for easy system integration.

High-Speed, Low-Latency Conversion. The module leverages the Altera® Agilex™ 9 FPGA
to deliver direct digitization of eight RF inputs and eight RF outputs at sample rates up to 64 GSPS with ultra-low converter interface latency.

High Fidelity RF. Incorporates Spectrum Control’s industry-leading miniaturized RF front end technology for high performance, wideband performance with full signal isolation.

SOSA-Aligned Package. The module utilizes the industry-standard VPX form factor for plug-and-play compatibility.

  • Wideband RF mezzanine interface for baluns and other custom RF conditioning devices or Spectrum Control RF+ SiPs
  • Integrated low phase noise clock generation for full bandwidth sampling (64 GSPS), with selectable internal or external reference inputs
  • Sample rates up to 64 GSPS
