About Dual Line EMI Filters
Employing a common mode choke, line-to-ground and line-to-line capacitance enables attenuation of common and differential mode voltages (noise) from both lines on inputs and outputs of AC or DC systems in a single hermetically sealed package. Compact design reduces space and weight by 50%.
Single-line filters only attenuate single source signals. With a dual-line EMI filter, common mode noise can be attenuated based on internal common mode inductor coupled with both line to ground and line to line capacitance while keeping the standard Ø.690 case.
